‘From scratch‘ creative workshop

 
 

CIE will launch the “From Scratch” Creative Workshop in Fall 2022 with the lead sponsorship support of DA Entertainment.

CIE “From Scratch” is a workshop for emerging and early-career writers, directors, and creative producers in seeking opportunities to break through in Chinese content creation. 

Participants will have opportunities to create original stories with a selected theme and genre, attend master classes with experienced film and TV makers, and build their network with industrial professionals.

This year, the workshop will be conducted in Mandarin, and scripts will be created and developed in Chinese. 

The workshop will be structured in three stages:

  1. Series Project Screenplay writing

  2. Creative development

  3. Show Bible and Marketing Plan

Participants will be attending:

  1. EIGHT online Seminars, discussing their original works, led by mentors. 

  2. Four online Masterclasses, instructed by industry veterans in writing, directing, producing, and distribution.

  3. One One-on-One meeting with an experienced mentor. 

  4. An opportunity to present the project to invited industry professionals.
