Join us on Saturday (2/20) at 2pm (PST) for CIE’s latest episode of Speaker Series. We are inviting female professionals in the entertainment industry to discuss future outlook, industry trends, and women’s career challenges and advancements. About the Speakers

Darice Rollins

Darice Rollins, Creative Production & Development Executive who has been on producing teams for tv and feature film projects that combined have grossed in the billions worldwide over the course of her career. (Bad Boys 2, Big Mommas House 2, Wild Hogs, Open Season, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins and more). Ms. Rollins possesses acute skills to create and develop television, feature film, animation and other multi-platform concepts, formats and content with strong domestic and international appeal that she nurtures from inception through production. Her end goal is to uniquely present current trends and create quality content for the marketplace.

Junzi (June) Tan

Associate, LOEB & LOEB

Tan focuses on domestic and international transactions while advising production companies, distributors, and investors in all stages of film, TV, digital media and location-based entertainment projects. Her bilingual capabilities have been instrumental in helping numerous Chinese entertainment clients, including Tencent, navigate Hollywood dealmaking. In 2020, she worked with Vice Media on over a dozen projects, and served as outside counsel to Black Label Media while negotiating development deals for screenwriter Derek Kolstad (“John Wick”).

Yang Yang Liu

Yang Yang Liu works on the Original Series Content Strategy team at Amazon Studios. As part of this team, she helps develop the portfolio strategy for original series, with a particular focus on drama / genre series (e.g. The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Jack Ryan). Yang Yang has worked in strategy at Freeform, and started her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.


About the Moderator

Kaylin George

Influenced by her mixed background and by a passion for exploring the world, Kaylin George is an internationally award-winning writer and director who finds herself drawn to stories centered around diverse characters and their unexpected connections. Kaylin’s recent film, “Two Paper Nightingales,” screened at the DGA and was an official selection of the Student Academy Awards, Vail Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival, and many other celebrated festivals. Kaylin has worked with the Tokyo-based production company, VirginEarth, the Beverly Hills-based talent agency, The Gersh Agency, and the Los Angeles-based production company, Media RED.

Speaker Series invites industry professionals to share their stories and insights. We intend to create dynamic conversations between remarkable industry leaders who are making an impact to shape the entertainment world, and the audience who are eager to learn more about the industry.
